EvTrack + 2N Integration
EvTrack integrates directly with 2N IP intercoms and access controllers via the 2N REST API - syncing visitor credentials, access schedules and phonebook directory entries to the device for touchless entry via QR code, RFID card or PIN.
Data Transferred to 2N
Visitor Name
Holder name synced to 2N device directory (max 63 characters)
RFID Card (Mifare CSN)
Contactless card credential - CSN reversed and written to device access database
QR Code Credential
Unique identifier written as a card credential for QR scan at reader
PIN Code
Numeric PIN written to device keypad access database
Access Schedule
Schedule profile mapped to entry and exit access control points
Valid From / Valid To
Credential validity window (UTC + timezone offset applied for 2N compatibility)
Virtual Extension / SIP URI
Phonebook extension and SIP address for intercom call routing (optional)
Directory Tree Path
Group / organisation / department / location hierarchy for devices with touch display
How the Integration Works
Visitor is registered via EvTrack Portal, FrontDesk kiosk or Guard App with a credential type (RFID, QR code or PIN) and visit window.
EvTrack generates the credential and sends it to the 2N device via the REST API - writing the user record to the device's local access database.
The credential is stored on the device with a valid-from and valid-to timestamp, scoped to the configured access schedule and access control point.
For intercom devices with a phonebook, EvTrack also syncs the visitor's virtual extension and SIP address - enabling call routing to the host from the entry panel.
For devices with a touch display module, EvTrack builds a directory tree path (group / organisation / floor / unit) so the visitor appears in the phonebook.
The visitor presents their credential (RFID tap, QR scan or PIN entry) at the 2N reader - the device checks its local database and triggers the door release.
Access events (entry, denied, alarm) are streamed back to EvTrack in real time via the 2N event log API and recorded as access control events.
On visitor checkout or credential expiry, EvTrack deletes the user record from the 2N device database.
