EvTrack + Axis Integration
EvTrack integrates with Axis cameras and access control hardware - delivering license plate recognition via the Axis FF Group ACAP application, QR code and barcode scanning via Axis ACAP, and I/O relay control for barrier and gate automation.
Data Transferred to Axis
License Plate Number
Whitelist/blacklist credential synced to Axis ANPR camera via FF Group API
Valid Date Range
Plate credential validity period (start / end date)
Access Mode
Online (server-verified in real-time) or Offline (device-local whitelist)
Plate Recognition Events
Vehicle plate, type, direction, confidence and timestamp streamed back to EvTrack
QR / Barcode Scan Events
Scan data from Axis ACAP barcode reader forwarded to EvTrack for credential verification
Relay Output Command
EvTrack triggers Axis I/O outputs to open barriers, gates or doors
How the Integration Works
Vehicle license plate is pre-registered in EvTrack with validity dates and whitelist status.
EvTrack syncs the plate to the Axis ANPR camera via the FF Group ACAP REST API.
The camera detects an approaching vehicle and performs ANPR recognition.
In online mode, the camera queries EvTrack to verify the plate in real-time; in offline mode, the device checks its local whitelist.
If authorised, the camera triggers a relay output - raising the boom gate or unlocking the barrier.
The plate recognition event (vehicle type, direction, timestamp) is pushed back to EvTrack as an access control event and logged.
For pedestrian or visitor access, Axis ACAP barcode readers scan QR codes - the event is sent to EvTrack for credential verification and door control.
On expiry or visitor checkout, the plate or credential is removed from the device.
