EvTrack + SAFR Integration
EvTrack integrates with SAFR (RealNetworks) - a leading AI facial recognition platform - syncing visitor face photos, QR code credentials and access clearance assignments to SAFR cameras, with real-time access events streamed back to EvTrack.
Data Transferred to SAFR
First Name & Last Name
Visitor identity written to SAFR person record
Visitor Face Photo
Uploaded to SAFR as a face signature - used for biometric recognition at SAFR cameras
QR Code Credential
Unique identifier converted to Wiegand card number and synced as an access card ID on the SAFR person
Access Clearance Level
EvTrack access control group mapped to SAFR access clearance name and level
Access Window
Credential validity period - accessActivatedSince and accessActivatedUntil set from visit window
Person Type
Visitor type (visitor, resident, employee) encoded on the SAFR person record
Watchlist / Threat Record
Person flagged as a threat synced with idClass "threat" - triggers alert on recognition at any SAFR camera
Access Events
ACCESS_GRANTED and ACCESS_DENIED events streamed from SAFR cameras back to EvTrack in real time
How the Integration Works
Visitor is registered via EvTrack Portal, FrontDesk kiosk or Guard App - a high-resolution face photo is captured during registration.
EvTrack pushes the visitor person record to SAFR via the COVI REST API - including name, person type, access clearance and credential validity window.
The visitor face photo is uploaded to SAFR as a face signature - SAFR processes it into a biometric template stored against the person record.
If a QR code credential is used, EvTrack converts the unique identifier to a Wiegand card number and sets it as the SAFR access card ID.
The visitor's access clearance level is mapped from the EvTrack access control group to the corresponding SAFR access clearance name.
SAFR cameras at entry points recognise the visitor's face (or QR code) and grant or deny access based on the clearance level and visit window.
ACCESS_GRANTED and ACCESS_DENIED events are streamed back to EvTrack in real time and logged as access control events.
On visitor checkout or credential expiry, EvTrack deletes the person record from SAFR - removing face and access card credentials from all cameras.
